4/18/2006Lambing for 2006Lambing is a success! We got 7 beautiful lambs this year, 2 ewe lambs and 5 ram lambs. We got one black ewe lamb, she is the first black lamb born on our farm! The rest are white fleeced and very healthy large lambs. The lambing started on March 31st and ended on a full moon evening on April 13th, with the grand finali of a black ewe lamb, which we named Luna de Sombra (moonshadow). We got one purebred Leicester Longwool ram lamb as well. This has been the most amazing and blessed lambing season and we are very thankful everything has worked out so well.
